is there any chance that arsenal@upton park (25 oct) will go on general sale?

if west ham are anything like spurs in this regard, tickets will go onsale to members first, then to the public a week or so later. but (again) if like spurs, there's a good chance that a local derby against one of the bigger london clubs will never make it to general sale.

anyway, i may be over at the time, and i'd really like to experience upton park. it is one of only three london (league) club grounds to which i've never been, and unlike the emirates and the bridge, i want to change that. and while i suspect that catering to yiddos isn't a top priority for most of you folks, you at least have my assurances that i'd be pulling hard for the hammers in this one. :D

so ... is there any chance? or would i be wasting my time even looking?

cheers.

*sorry to start a new one for this, but i didn't see a ticket thread on here*

Just got tickets for our home game against Liverpool on Sept 19th, (courtesy of Theresa) ;) so I'm well pleased. :D

would be neat if you could pull it off though...

Don't give up hope pookspur.

The credit crunch is affecting people and seeing as the Arsenal game is on live TV late Sunday afternoon on the 25th October people might save their £50s for another game.

If they do go on general sale its 29th September with a possibility of more being released on 10th October.

As long as you're ready by your pc/phone at 9am sharp on 29th September then you've as good a chance as anyone. It took a while getting through for tickets for the Liverpool game but when I did it seemed there were plenty available - probably something to do with the game being on tv but also, as Hammerette said, down to the credit crunch.

Just prepare yourself for the price, fifty seven quid a ticket
They better bloody win...

which in my case means 4am sharp. but believe me, i've know the drill, as i've done it for spurs tickets on numerous occasions.

it also means that i'm painfully accustomed to paying outrageous prices for the more 'desirable' london derbies. :(
