Arsenal v Rangers
Sunday, August 2, 2009
1615 GMT, 11:15 am EST
Emirates Stadium
It's game two of the Emirates Cup for Arsenal as we take on Rangers -- and hopefully win our tournament! Hoping to see Walcott for the first time this year in this game.
EDIT: Mods, would you add an [R], etc. please? I accidentally hit post before I did all that.

I'm guessing its a good thing that not too many Rangers fans traveled to watch their Emirates cup friendlies.

Any news on Vermaelen. It mentioned again that he was withdrawn during the Hannover game but no mention if he would play Sunday.

I've heard that it is some where between 9-15000 of them came down. They didn't stay for the Arsenal match on sat. Personally I want Arsenal to hump them bad so I can stick it to my hun supporting mates back in Scotland.
Oh and KILL!!! is my trademark, that'll be all.

No, there were a lot of Rangers fans there. It was a very large, noisy contingent. I believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong) they extended the away section to fit them all in.
A great sight was seeing a Rangers dominated pub encircled by police wagons. I mean, if you're going to be prepared, you might as well put the cuffs on beforehand as well. Just to be sure.

Not a lot of height or muscle in that squad. 'Hoping we handle the set pieces and Rangers don't try to make it a slug-fest.

Well it really looks like Wenger is liking the 4-3-3.

Has Vermaelen picked up an injury?
He went off injured in the game against Hannover - I'm guessing he hasn't recovered yet.
