I bought a jersey of theirs that was deeply discounted because they were to be relegated, but I haven't heard anything about them since...

They finished in the lower half of Football League Division 2 (two levels below the Premiership).

They are still getting average attendances in excess of 20k, however.

The majority of the fans want chairman Dave Allen and manager Chris Turner out (http://soccernet.espn.go.com/headlinenews?id=299533&cc=3436). I'm afraid that isn't going to happen and we're in for more of the same next year.

Unless things turn around the Owls are likely to be in the Third division before they get back to the First.

Were some of these players let go for financial reasons? I'm asking that because Wednesday doesn't seem to be out of the woods yet in terms of finances.

At least Sheffield United didn't make it to the premiership.
