Joe Cole's injury is a meniscus, not ACL;)I'll be pleased to get up and watch this having missed the Milan and American friendlies due to work. I figure this is one where we'll see the first team.

I was watching crossbar challenges on youtube last night with a beer (as you do) and when he took his turn, Becky was wondering why I swore viciously and loudly at my laptop :)

I would swap Alex with Carvs, otherwise, great lineup.

would be my starting diamond, with Carv, until Joey comes back, then I'd probably go more 4-3-3 with Sturridge or Anelka off, but assuming I'm not in charge by then, with a diamond I'd probably go with Joey at the tip Lamp on the left and let those two switch around a bit and bring Zhirkov on in the 2nd

I'm not the type of person who likes to set out to injure people but Hunt is one of the few players who I will happily intend to injure.

Best bet is to check the matchday thread come gametime. Usually streams are posted there.

From yesterdays training session but I doubt he plays later today. Just a hunch, though.

Definitely looking forward to a season full of 4 CM's at once, no natural width, our fullbacks being caught out, Deco, Pizza, Sheva, Ballack and Pirlo:rolleyes:
