Happy Birthday Stomps (belated for the 25th.)

Yes, our very own blues guitarist, mandolin and harp player; not to mention him being a master of the single note, as well as an historian and the only person I know who's head is full of more useless information than mine, has seen another year go fleeting past. Of course he's still only a whipper snapper, so he has a year or two left in him.:D

Sorry it's a bit late Stomper, but I was in blighty, swinging long sticks at a little white ball and celebrating my own 65th. I hope you had a good one mate and managed to remain sober (in a relative manner).:)

Well, thank you chaps. And many happy returns to you Norway. As the years pass by one's priorities change but I'm wondering at what stage of ones descent into dotage does it become impossible to avoid swinging sticks at little white balls and aiming them at innocent rabbits?
I've managed to avoid it so far, but all my older male colleagues are obsessed. Do they hand out the sticks with the bus pass? Or does one get abducted by a squad of highly trained octogenarians with their trousers rolled up and a sense of destiny?
