Utter nonsense son. Thats my take on the situation and if no one likes it thats fine with me. It won't change my opinion.
You however are still young and a tad naive. Not your fault just how it is. Maturity will come with age and I look forward to seeing it develop.
Ta Ta for now....:)
You're pathetic, you have cold, hard facts pointed out to you yet you still go on with this anti-Doughty line that you are alone on. Why? What the hell has he ever done to you?
Doughty has saved our football club, yet small-minded pricks like you just keep on complaining. I bet you'd be glad if he boggered off wouldnt you?

As I said naivety and immaturity are to be expected from one as young as yourself.
How's the paper round going for you...;)

Adam, forest lost to DC United, a pretty good and well coached MLS team. Niether side played the top XI. The MLS is the top flight in the US, and is pretty close to D1. As I posted previously, it was just a friendly, and Forest earned a draw, but firnedly draws in the US are generally settled by penalty kicks. I suspect they put the ball on the spot, but the MLS has a differnt shoot out system for games that must have a result. If they used the MLS system, where the shooter starts 25 yards away and has five seconds to shoot, Forest would have been at a disadvantage.
Nice for DC United to win, but it means nothing. Do not worry about it.
As far as Forest goes in the coming season, I have high hopes. JK is the right man (then again, I thought Hart was as well), and I think he can get Forest back into the EPL where the Reds belong.
YOOOOOOOOOUUU REEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDSSSSSS!

ill retire to the OF then. At least people there can accept facts when they are thrown at them, unlike some who cant see the wood for the tree's. Idiot.

Well, in our league, we no longer have overtime of any kind, or any kind of shootout. Ties end as ties. The shootout you describe, where the player runs in from 40 yards out stopped in the '99 season. So this is the fifth season without it, so you're a little behind on the way things work over here. ;) The only time where the draws don't seem to end in ties is when we play overseas opposition. This shootout, like the rest of them in international friendlies, was from the penalty spot.
However, everyone enjoyed having your team and fans come to town, and they won the hearts of many locals. Good luck this season. You guys should do well.

Thank you for the clarification, although I am fully aware that there is no extra time or shoot outs in the MLS; I have not missed a home game in five years.
Last year, Dallas defeated FAS in a shoot out from the spot. I think that was the only game they won last year.
