They need to defend the corner kicks and other set pieces better, Chivas' goals on those yesterday were a disgrace. If they were trying the offsides trap, maybe they need to reconsider. But the defense otherwise played well enough and the attack looked great even without HM. Could be a good tournament.

I don't know if I agree with that . . . yet. I think it would be impossible NOT to miss him, but yesterday, two of the three goals were just crappy team defense on set pieces. I think they were trying the offsides trap on one of them, and failed horribly. Only one goal was in the run of play.

he's certainly not bad but i wouldnt expect to see him much of him after jornada 2. he's clearly good enogh to start in most teams but toluca isnt one of them.

P.S.- his hair tilts me

Still undefeated.

Question, would it be fun for a gringo Toluca fan to go see them play at Estadio Azul? Or am I better off waiting for another trip where I can see a home game in Toluca?

ive only been to the Azul once, and their fans are classless and the stadium aint all that. As for going to La Bombonera, you can be with La Perra Brava and have the greatest time. so if i were you, id wait to see it in toluca.

Well, at least I'll be seeing Toluca play here in DC later this month against DC United in the CONCACAF "champions" league.

They looked a little shaky to start the game, but once UNAM missed on their couple of chances, it was all Diablos, all day long. If they keep playing like this, Toluca will have to be the favorite to take another championship. Long way to go though.

IMO Toluca has been the best team, or at least the most consistent, in the league for the past 10 years
