It's on Sky Sports News as well apparently.

Great news. I'm interested in what the fee is, no doubt 2.5 or less, which would cheer me up no end given the way Krasner was making noise about it being 5 million.

He needs to lose a few pounds in weight and get his confidence back, this past year at Leeds has been bad for him. I'm sure a fresh start will do him good though, and it least this means we're strong and have competition in at least one area outside of the strikers.

I was disapointed when Villa didn`t get Robinson last summer for £3m, although I was happy we got Sorensen instead with the way things turned out. Watching Robbo last year I couldn`t help but notice how his tubbiness was getting in the way of his goalkeeping, and not in the good way of blocking out more of the goal. Still, he`s not bad for a fat lad, and if the new manager puts him on a pie-free diet, he`ll do well for you.

He definitely needs to lose some weight and get his confidence back, this past season has been a bit shocking for him. But I think he has been even more unsettled than most Leeds players with the two collapsed transfers to us in january and Villa last summer, and him being touted around every club multiple times.

A fresh start, a decent new manager and a hard preseason should see him back to his full ability. Competition from Keller will also be good for driving him on, like it was at Leeds when he had Martyn there with him.

Keller v Robinson will be good for Spurs. Both need the competition.

I hope the fans that so desperately wanted him here are patient and forgiving with him, because I don't think he's a top level Premiership keeper yet. And on the flip side, I hope people let the best keeper win and cheer for whomever that is, Keller or Robinson. All of us have our favorites (mine's Keller), but unless Spurs bring in a skilled and healthy Dmid, as well as an organizing center back, either keeper is foing to face a Sysiphean (sp?) task in Spurs goal.

I do think he was a good buy for the price, so there's a start. With so many big buys that haven't panned out, it's good to see Spurs taking a chance on a promising English guy who doesn't break the bank. Kudos to the front office for getting Robbo at a good price.

It's good to have any other keeper, Keller could concede 5 and still be in the XI for the next game.

£2m is a bargain i think, his confidence has been rocked week in week out at Leeds. Hopefully it'll perk up a bit.

£2mn is a great bargain for Robinson, and don't worry about the weight now that he'll be away from all the Yorkshire Pies (ba-dum CH!)

Have you been to the High Road?

It looks like this:

kebab shop, hairdressers, turkish supermarket, pizza place, fried chicken shop, chinese supermarket, hairdressers, kebab shop, pizza shop, pub, pub, supermarket, chip shop, indian restaurant, hairdressers, turkish supermarket, fried chicken shop.

I'd say he's in more danger than ever ;)

Wow... the words you don't expect to see on Big Soccer.
You almost had the spelling right... should be Sisyphean.
- and the other one would be going rather than foing :)

and you are right... without improving those in front of the keeper... it won't make that much difference who is in the nets...
