Mandaric is letting success get to his head. Why break up something thats been so successful? Between Harry's wheeling and dealing and Kevin Bonds' fantastic job as coach this team has been extremely successful and now the chairman wants to throw a wrench in it?

It's a strange one. From what I've heard there was a meeting on Saturday with Milan, Peter Storrie and Redknapp present. Milan was talking about his plans for the future, which included bringing in a new coach to help with young players. The fire alarm went off and Redknapp told Jim Smith the plans. Someone else was with Jim Smith and is apparantly using this and spreading vicious rumours about wanting Jim Smith and Kevin Bond out - Even though this was not even mentioned at the meeting.

But on Monday and Tuesday, the news seemed to have caused a rift between Redknapp and Mandaric. I think all will be revealed today, as Mandaric and Redknapp are meeting.

Harry himself is now saying he's likely out regardless of what Milan says to him at the meeting. Rumor or not the whole thing with Jim Smith obviously offended Harry a great deal and I don't know that I blame him. I think Milan is making a big mistake - this whole thing is totally unecessary. I can't think of a reason to let Smith go unless theres something the public is not aware of. By the way welcome portsmouth, good to have another Pompey fan aboard.
