well in this game cota will make his debut in the champions league which i think is a good thing to see if he will be our next goalie or a. blanco who is at irapuato on a loan and also mustafa is able to return but i think pachuca should use braulio godinez who just got back from sinaloa and indios

We wouldn't want another preliminary round failure like in Libertadores earlier in the year so maybe a few subs will be in order for tonight's match but I think the majority of the first team will be fielded by Rivarola to assure a good result. Although it must be said that this opponent is considerably weaker than what we faced then so there's more room for error.

I say a win by at least a two goal margin should be expected from our team.

Pachuca wins the home leg 3-0 with goals from Cacho, Caballero and as is a constant by now, 'Chaco' Giménez. :) Looks like we've got at least half a ticket to group A of the CCL.

It was pretty much a sdtaring lineup with the exception of Cota in for Calero. This was the exact lineup and substitutes who came in for the first match:

30.- Rodolfo Cota
5.- Gregorio Torres
6.- Jaime Correa
7.- Damián Álvarez
11.- Juan Carlos Cacho (9.- Ulises Mendívil, 65’)
12.- Juan Rojas (10.- Édgar Benítez,46’)
16.- Gerardo Rodríguez
19.- Christian Giménez
21.- Damián Manso (8.- Gabriel Caballero, 54’)
22.- Paul Aguilar

Glad to see you back Austin and sorry to hear about your separation, keep that chin up man.

About the game, It could have been five goals easily but there were some wasted chances and as for Calero, he's still the starter but Rivarola was just giving Cota some much needed experience.

in the next jalapa game it looks like pachuca will be using carlos velasquez other backup goalkeeper which i think is awesome becuz i've been waiting to see him play for a while seeing as jalapa need to win by a four goal margin

I don't see how the Guatemalan club will score the necessary four goals to advance on to the next round, in fact based on what Jalapa showed (or didn't show) I don't see how they will beat us by any margin. Should be a comfortable closing leg tonight.

LOL! :D

1-7 in Pachuca's favor.

Goalscorers were Christian Giménez at 3’, Ulises Mendívil at 13’, 35’ and 76’, Paul Aguilar at 50’, Édgar Benítez al 64’ and Gabriel Caballero at the 85'minute mark.
