View Full Version : The 'Bob Bradley is the World's best manager' conspiracy

I have a theory.

After masterminding our run to the Confed Cup Final, papa Bradley realized that HE, not Fergie or Mourinho or Wenger or Capello or whomever, was the best manger in the World. He's decided to prove this beyond the shadow of a doubt by slowly chipping away at his squad, and still keeping on winning.

Just look at the facts.

Post Confederations Cup, he leaves out most of the starters from the squad, which we expected. But he's slowly been dropping the best players. Altidore, Guzan, Feilhaber, Bornstein, Adu, Cherundolo, and Davies are all listed in our 30-man squad, but have all gone back to their clubs.

At this rate, the team in our last hex games will be made entirely of MLS players, just so Bob can prove how much of a managerial genius he is.

I know what you're thinking at this point. Go on, laugh. Just remember this: You won't be laughing when Bob coaches a team consisting of Steve Ralston, Tony Meola, Walter Bahr, 7 pogs and a pack of Uno cards to a 4-0 World Cup Final victory over Argentina.

Forza Bob. Allez Bob. Bradley for Pope AND Caliph.

That pack of Uno cards is dangerous though. I think it's got a shot at making the 23 even without the conspiracy.

Just gotta watch out for Mexico trying to get him first. He's got dual citizenship, you know.

I like the Uno strategy:
Instead of getting red cards, we, in theory, could hand em out!

This is the dumbest thread I have ever seen in the history of Bigsoccer.

Is that the only sub he'll make in said World Cup Final? If so that's a brilliant tactical move.

Well, you may not have seen a dumber, but they exist. There's a BigSoccer corollary to a certain formulation of the Archimedean principle that states that for any level of dumbness in a thread, there exists a thread with a higher level of dumbness.

I'm stealing that joke, just so you know.

America: the only country to field a Pope and a Califf!

I'm surprised no one has thrown the old "Conspiracies involve multiple people" tantrum.
