Ahh... puts that "unbeaten" thing into perspective, doesn't it? LOL! :D
P38 W26 D12 L0.......What's questionable about that? It's a categoric fact that we went through our Premiership campaign unbeaten. You don't see people talking about Man U's "treble" season in similar fashion, it's getting boring now.
Shrewd: "Characterized by keen awareness, sharp intelligence, and often a sense of practicality".....Ehmmm

Nothing questionable about it. There's just not much difference between W26 D11 L1 and your record either. (which would have been the case if the ref had not awarded that Pires penalty - the ref even rescinded the yellow card for the Pompey player a day later after seeing how he'd been deceived by Pires' dive on video replay)
But, don't let the opinion of a United supporter rain on your parade. Go ahead and bask in the glow of your achievement. I didn't say you didn't deserve to win the league or anything, you were clearly the best team this season.

Can someone please enlighten me as to why Man U fans have now stooped to using Community Shield results as proof of anything? Have things got that bad? Not only that, you won the sh!ting thing on penalties! We took Henry off at half-time & replaced him with Pires. Bloody hell get over it. You virtually won the FA Cup by beating us, fantastic, credit to you. I'd take our season over yours anyday!

if pires gets carded for a dive... how are you keen enough to know we might LOSE that match? maybe we get a goal.. you never know how things work out in football..

Bloody hell, this IS the England Rivalries Board. :D
Am I supposed to take pictures of horses dressed up in United kits THAT seriously now? ;)

[now, just to resume the playful ribbing]
Well, are we supposed to assume that once Arsenal scored the equalizer on a dodgy pen, that they didn't try as hard as they could to get the winner?
Or did they settle for the draw? God knows you had a buttload of draws... :D

A fair point Motterman, but we all have to endure bad officiating at the hands of Englands finest....usesless the lot of em. Ahem
I for example, saw two clear cut hand-balls on the part of Man U in this years FA Cup Semi Final. The Ref did not. Until the sporty joins the 21st century and uses video replaces to settle descisions bad officiating is something that will always work for and against us (the fans).

yeah - two clear cheating hanballs in fa cup semi kind of puts man utd in general into perspective deosnt it. let alone their season

Both "handballs" were unintentional. When the ref did not call the first one, as long as he was going to be consistent, then he was correct to not call the 2nd one either.

You don't have to do anything to look like a fool. It just comes naturally.

Of course they were unintentional - your a Man u fan, your gonna think that. Ref wasnt consistent though. We got called up on a hand ball which was a lot more speculative - looked more like ball to hand - but then of course im going to say that.
