For the record:

Coming up from the Conference: Chester, and the winner of the Aldershot/Shrewsbury play-off final next Sunday. Going down from the Conference are Leigh RMI and Northwich. They will be replaced by the winners of the Dr. Martens Premier League (Crawley Town), and the Ryman Premier League (Canvey Island). The Unibond Premier League champions, Hucknall Town, and the runners-up, Droylsden do not have grounds that meet minimum league standards for promotion to the Conference, so Farnborough, who would have gone down, are now saved. Barrow, who finished 3rd in the Unibond, have a good enough ground, but league rules say that only the champions, or runners-up can be promoted.

Conference rules do seem to need a little clarfying on the promotion of runners-up these days, so thankfully Barrow didn't finish second.

Also Leigh and even Northwich could possibly survive, Margate and Telford might be forced out.

I'd like to see Crystal Palace back in the Prem. Also rooting for Brighton to be promoted to Div 1.

Is the Nationwide Conference league still going through with the plan to create a Conference North and South division directly below them?

(It's just the Conference. Not Conference League.)

Yes, that's still on. There have been playoffs for promotion spots over the past week or two.

A list of the 10 leagues in the top four levels of the non-league game and their membership for next season is here (http://www.tonykempster.btinternet.co.uk/maps.htm).

Cool, nice link.

So only seven more seasons until AFC Wimbledon are in the top-flight? ;)
