Cabrito was a hell of a player
he was definately one of my favs on the NT between 1998 - 2003
i remember him being our SUPER SUB in the '98 WC

The poster boy of wasted talent and opportunities of the mexican player. He was as talented as anybody but he never made the push to europe and ended up wasting away in the MFL. His career compared to the talent and flashe he showed was dissapointing.

whats wrong with a player being in love with Mexico and wanting to stay?
at least hes not a landycakes and goes to europe and fails and decides to stay in the Mickey mouse league twice or thrice I think

didn't chievo put on offer on the table when when they were promoted and monterrey declined it?
or did he decline as well?

I know he had offers throughout but to me the biggest waste was after France 98. He could have gone and played everywhere after the cup but he decided to go to Chivas and said that later he would leave, and of course that never happened.
