Is anyone able to tell me on average how many supporters attend a Wolves home game?

Thus far, with 1 home match left, Wolves average attendence is 28,845 (League matches only). The largest home crowd was 29,396 against Man. United, and the smallest was 27,327 against Charlton. Molineux capacity is 28,500 plus executive boxes, suites and the like.

I reckon it will be about the same. Wolves have a good support base, and the average attendance while we were in the first division last time was about 28000 i think.

I agree, the problem out here is that the Division One matches are not on television very often. I was able to watch quite a few Wolves games on a channel called Fox Sports World, I guess next season I will have to watch highlights mainly.

its the same even over here - sky television hold the rights to show live premiership and first division games, but while there are 4-5 premiership games a week shown live, very few first division games are shown. there is a highlights program shown saturday night of all the premiership games that day, but not first division games.

if you have broadband or a fast internet connection, you might want to sign up to 'wolves world' - you get full match commentries on all games, video hightlights etc after the games. and if you sign up to the 'extra' package, you get this for all clubs that offer the service, not just wolves. cant remember how much it was this year - around £35 for the season i think - about $60? might be worth checking out the wolves web site (www.wolves.co.uk) at the start of the season when they start this service again - it will tell you the other clubs that offer this too.

i do go to the wolves games but it was harder this year to get tickets. a lot of my friends have season tickets and so i have a chance to get a ticket from them when they cannot go. this season i went to the home game with chelsea where we lost 5-0 but also the man united game which was great.

I must confess that game against Manchester United was when I started to root for Wolves! They had an ok year all things considered and I am a closet fan.

I am rooting for Wolves to come back up, they seem to deserve it. They have an intensity to them which I find admirable.

If they can get some more players and keep that intensity they should be back up quickly.

Being a bit pedantic here I know, but Molineux's capacity for the current season was around 29,500 because they filled in one of the corners. I dunno, I thought the attendance was a bit disappointing this season, it wasn't always a sell-out and Wolves have hopes of developing the stadium to at least 40,000 should they establish themselves in the Premier.

The attendance seems pretty solid, what is interesting is there are some European teams touring the US this summer and if you pay extra money you can have the opportunity to watch them practice.

In the UK if you go to a match are you let in early enough to watch the players practice, or do you have to pay extra, or is this even an option?

Hmm, interesting question. You can see the players warming up and such if you get to the ground early enough but it depends if the club open the turnstiles. I can't believe they're charging you to see the team practice, thats terrible. I don't think teams here train on matchdays but I'm sure you can see the team training for free if you go to the training ground during the week.

Interesting. For other sports such as baseball, hockey, and football here in the US if supporters arrive early they can watch the teams practice.

Nevermind the home attendances. The away support is the best around.

I don't know how many of you were at Newcastle away but the atmosphere in our end was tremendous.
