I will be as well. Looking forward to seeing the quality of the feed and our line-up. It will take some time but I believe our new team (including hopefully some defensive signings) will gel well. Orlando are a fairly good defensive side so it should be a good test for our new attacking depth.

Wish I could watch, but I'm going to be travelling this weekend. Hope to catch Tuesday's match.

I am interested in the quality of the feed as well. Wouldn't it be great if mcfc.co.uk had a live feed for every match of high quality? We can dream right?

I dream with you. Unfortunately, I believe they said they would only try and provide a feed when the match is not picked up live in the UK. Very disappointing as NetResult and other EPL agents have become very good at closing live feeds downs mere minutes into the matches and so it has become increasingly difficult to find one match weekend. I can watch all of Zara's matches here but toward the end of last season very few of City's (I had a friend record them and send them to me after the fact, which is just no where near as good). I hope that changes this coming campaign.

Apparently they were having satellite streaming difficulties but the stream is now there and Live (though it is halftime right now). We are down 1-0. Boji has been playing well. Our defense is not especially distinguishing themselves, though.

That was a heck of a goal. Can City buy that guy?

Typical pre season match, considering soccernet is saying Adebayor is getting a medical as we speak, this match is not featuring any of our new offensive addition. No Robinho, no Tevez, no Rogue Santa Cruz, no Barry...

Limp showing, but, to be fair, we only had perhaps six potential first team payers (only two true starters from last season) on the field at various times. Our attack was impotent to put it nicely and the defense, albeit young and inexperienced, was lacking in most every way. Still, I enjoyed seeing Wiess and Vidal in action (especially Weiss who, if he can tone down the unnecessary skills showcasing on the ball, could break into the first team this year). We need to time to really get into form and Orlando provided the defensive test I alluded to before.
Still, anyone find it hard to swallow when the VC Commentator was referencing our woeful performance "especially" in comparison to the Rags and Spurs previous entertaining showings?

He was prob just disappointed since we are the world richest club but we certainly didnt field our top team.

Well, he seemed to be commenting on the overall lackluster play. Which I agree, but he went on a bit about how United and Spurs were very entertaining and we merely disappointed. As I said, I agree, just hard to swallow given our opposition and the comparison clubs (for some reason it bothered me more that he compared us extremely unfavourably to Spurs, haha).

That was a shocking performance!! Especially as they were unveiling their new kit in a big marketing push!! I've got to believe Hughes was giving all the second teamers one last run out before bringing in the big boys. Of the players yesterday, only Weiss, Boji, Ireland showed any quality.. Hughes needs to start unloading a lot of the fringe players.
