im gonna cry
no matter what they do they still get no respect, they won the portuguese cup, they won the portuguese cup last year and they are in the finals this year.
THey also one the Uefa Cup last year, and now there in the final, not that Monaco isn't a good team, bue except for when we played Lyon and Partizan Belgrade we have been told we where gonna lose, yet we've only lost one of the twelve games leading up to the final, at least all the bookie's say will win, but hey whatever...

I put some money down in January on three different Champions League contenders: Arsenal and AC Milan as favorites that I expected to make it to the final, and one dark horse who I had a bit of a hunch on, Porto. Now that the final is just about here, I'm gonna get paid, in part because one of my Porto Bets was simply for them to get to the final, not to win it, that paid at something like 5-1 or thereabouts. Now I want to do some coverage so that I make sure that I get paid either way.

My question to you all is this, what do you really think are Porto's chances? Preceeding the Semi's I was pretty comfortable that Porto would make the final and win if Monaco made the final. But the way Monaco played in their home game in the quarters, and again at home and away against Chelsea has me rethinking things. Monaco has looked outstanding in their last three Champions League games (and in their last group play game against a team Porto couldn't score against in the run of play), and now I'm quite worried. Porto's defense remains impressive but they've looked pretty dreadful in the attacking phase lately.

So my question is this, if you had to put money on one team, and already were getting paid a decent amount:

1.) would you bet heavy on Monaco

2.) would you bet heavy on them to win in regulation and risk losing your $$$ if it's tied at the end of regulation, or would you bet simply that they'd be the champ. The difference at the site I bet is between 2-1 odds and 2.6-1 odds.

Anyway currently I'm thinking Monaco will find a way to win, probably 2-1.
