I was just thinking on what would be most likely to happen next season

A. Man City win the League
B. Newcastle gets promoted
C. Newcastle gets relegated

B. The championship isn't very good.

Man City have too much catching up to do in terms of talent, although in theory they could sign a heck of a lot of players before September.

Newcastle would have to ship out a lot of players to go down

b Newcastle to get promoted.

The CCC is a very competitive league and very hard to get out of once you're down there (ask Charlton, Watford etc). But I against the chances of City winning the league the odds are favourable.

City have too much catching up to do, especially squad depth wise, and I think that Hughes may be out of his depth competing at the top, at least for the time being.

Quite how he's going to manage the likes of Bellamy, Robinho, Benjani, Santa Cruz, Tevez, Caciedo etc is anyone's guess............

I'm looking at the whole Newcastle fiasco as a blessing in disguise. They frequently graced the past few years of their Premiership existence with bland football and underachievment. I expect them to get promoted from the Championship and then come back to shock doubters and actually compete.

This providing they actually get some stability and don't lose the majority of their first-team.

I think the C is more excited than other two.

Good post, despite being a Newcastle fan I agree entirely. As long as our finances, or lack of them, don't completely ruin us, this relegation could be a good thing. We were in status quo for the past few years.
