Did anyone else catch this on Sci-Fi (or SyFy or whatever it's called now)?

I thought it was pretty decent, looking forward to see how it develops.

I caught it too and enjoyed it. I didn't think the actress playing Micha could pull it off, but now I think she could definitely hold her own. I've added this to my dvr's recording queue every week.

On my DVR queue as well. First episode was fun. Love Artie

Saul Rubinek (Artie) is one of those character actors that you have seen a million times and never quite remember where you've seen him before. He plays the frenetic and bervous character as well as anyone, so this role typecastingly perfect in that he is driven, nervous, and probably a little demented.

Interesting show. To me, the pilot felt a lot like The Librarian (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0412915/). Then, the 2nd episode felt like it was touched by X-Files.

I think the producers have to be careful with the artifacts. I think the show can get campy in a hurry if they let it. I'll watch for a while and see how it develops.

It looks like a "Friday the 13th, the series" remake, with a bigger budget and without the occult, at least so far. I like it.

Guess no one liked it that much!

I caught the second episode. I don't know if this show knows what it is yet. Is it a touchy emotional show with a sci-fi bent? Or is like Law and Order (circa Bratt and Orbach) where the genre fuels the show but you get pieces of the characters private lives via subtle lines in passing. (not that there was anything subtle in this episode)

The second episode was a big ol" "I hate Dad" episode with very little else. the only thing about the episode I did like was that the "magic item" was created by an ordinary guy by accident. I though that was intriguing.

The ending made my gag reflex act up a bit. I'll give it another episode, but only for Saul Rubinek.

He was the movie executive/drug buyer in True Romance.

Anyone else a listener of the Adam Carolla Podcast? He has a funny story about Saul Rubinek at a screening of the movie at some famous TV producer's house.
