You can typically view highlights from friendlies on FCBs website---if you're a paid member. However, they have not yet been posted...

EDIT: The highlights are now posted on FCBtv (German site) and will probably be posted on the English site soon. But, remember you have to be a paying member...

I know a lot of folks here poo-poo being a paying member, but I've found it enjoyable and reasonable for the money. FCBtv will post all highlights and many interviews and features.....FWIW...

On July 18 and 19, four of the best German teams will clash in a special two-day tournament at Gelsenkirchen's VELTINS-Arena as hosts Schalke 04, Bayern Munich, Hamburger SV and VfB Stuttgart will compete for the title.

What is P2P and what time EST???

12:30 Kick, I believe on the East Coast....

Here's the link to the Bayern game on P2P....

http://www.myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=43650&part=sports

Once there, you can navigate to the home page and read up more on p2p. Streaming quality varies from time to time. Streams work and then they don't. Rarely in English...may have to listen to German, Russian, Zinaldese....:D Use the MediaPlayer links first to avoid having to download other software (SopCast or TVU).

Also....use at your own risk. I've never had a problem, but Loewenboy got smoked and had to reformat his computer....only problem I've ever heard of, but he def got screwed.

If you have more questions, shoot me a PM....doubt anybody here wants a complete refresher course.

Actually, to be totally honest, LB was doing the Internet equivalent of having sex with a steel condom through several layers of antiviral gel and STILL got a trojan (no pun intended) that it took me weeks to clean (the computer, not the trojan). And I am a very, very, very technically savvy network person by trade and training.

Best bet if you MUST do this is use the FlashPlayer-based feeds like JustinTV. Avoid ANYTHING where you need to download ANYTHING to your desktop that is not from a known, reputable SW vendor. Sopcast, TVU, TV Ants and all the rest are spyware waiting to happen.

As Captain Barbossa said, "Ye have been warned!"

Thanks for the tip, btw. I have deleted my programs such as Sopcast. Shame as you could at least record via Sopcast.

I know its too early to judge players but Pranjic have really disappointed me.

To be honest I only saw him play once before, but a Croatian friend of mine said this guy is the next big thing, so I had high hopes.

Im not writing him yet, I know he needs time to adapt, and gel with others but to me he just looks out place.

you call this chances ?

pranjic / braafheid will make the former best left side in football looking like a joke. tymo was nice. micho, wtf just happend to him ?

when its you vs the keeper or one defender and the keeper, ill call them chances, whtether missed or not.

squad obviously needs some gelling to do, but there's glimpses of what is to come.

im personally not minding braafheid on the left, he's slowly pushing forward and making things a bit interesting. Pranjic aint doing much, but ive got some hopes for him.

its a shame we lost but I don't think anyone figured the team to come out and be brilliant right away. I think 99% of the people on the verge of heart attacks over change here are just being over-reactionary.

There is a bleak season ahead of us. Nothing worked in this game and overall the squad composition is more than ever doubtfull. THe critiscm of the past the onesided game over the left side, may have been true but if the cure is - as today's game showed - consists of taking the left side to the qualitywise down to the right side, then OMFG!

Critics of Bayern's transfer policy certainly won't lose momentum after this game as neither Pranjic, Braafheid or Badstuber showed enough promise.
