Maybe he meant MLS' best keeper not to be playing overseas in five years?
(or retired, running a pizzaria/donut shop, in Tony Meolas case)

Because we all give plenty of love to our hometown keeper, how about:
Best Goalkeeper Other Than Your Own!

How the h*** is Onstead leading this poll? I would vote for Hartman, but since we're not allowed to be "homers" I'll go with Brown.
Luckily Benfica thought Thornton was the best MLS keeper, or Kevin might have to do all that splinter removal from HIS a** instead of Zach.

Bingo. Although the one that squeezed through Adin's legs last week drops him a notch. :)

What a joke, best 3 aren't even on the list. Walker, Brown, then Hartman in that order (I still remember MLS Cup 99). Onstad in 4th (you get 4th cause your one hell of a goalie but you made the worse blooper ever). After that, its a tossup between Rimando, Cannon and Garlick. Then Meola and Ring (yea a lot of shutouts early but lets see him do that the whole season), ending with Busch (A-League).

From having the worst own goal ever to being the best in MLS, Pat Onstad.

My top three choices (Brown, Hartman, Walker in that order) are all missing. What gives?

Intresting, a lot of "votes" for Walker yet he's the only keeper in MLS not to record a shut out and has an outstanding 2.40 GAA, that's .73 more then the next keeper.
