Who do you think Sven will call in for the back three or four?

I really don't know to be honest after the loss of Woodgate, suspension of Rio, how good the defence will be this summer.

I would call:

G. Neville
P. Neville
G. Southgate
S. Cambell
A. Cole
W. Bridge
J. Terry

? Carragher
? Jlloyd Samuel
? Upson
? who else?

Who do you think will be called and what formation will be used in the back?

He should pair club mates ie Glenn Johnson (RB) John Terry (CB) with Campbell(CB)-Cole(LB) in a flat four, but with a holding midfielder (Lampard/Gerrard) giving Glenn and Ashley freedom to get forward.
Samuel ahead of the useless Bridge for Cole's understudy, throw in a Neville for Utility, Carragher for "do what im told" responsibility, chuck either Dion Dublin or Chris Sutton in to cover at centre back (plus both can be thrown on as target man up front).
Also, if you recall that at Norwich, Chris Sutton deputised in goal on a few occassions when proper Keeper sent off (back before they allowed an extra keeper as sub), you needn't worry about a 3rd keeper in the squad, so now u covered the entire back four with only 6-7 players, leaving more room to take as many Joe Cole's and Jermaine Defoe's as this country has!

Dion Dublin and Chris Sutton... 'useless' Bridge....... you piss taking monkey :D

I hope Sven takes:

RB - G. Neville *
RB/LB/CB - J. Carragher
LB - Wayne Bridge *
LB - Ashley Cole
CB - Sol Campbell *
CB - John Terry *
CB - G Southgate
CB - Ledley King

Carragher as the utility defender who can play anywhere across the back 4, but down as back up right back. Hargreaves can also play right back if needed, but I'd take him as a midfielder, therefore not taking Glenn Johnson or Phil Neville frees up a space for another striker. * = starting players.

Hey Mobile, alas can't say I've been to watch The U's since the days of Claridge!
And as u can see, I've defected to Yeovil 'coz of the Johnson's! (suck up!)
How about yourself? Play/support in the 'bridge?

For the record.....
Wayne Bridge is useless.
Owen Hargreaves is Ze'Germans. Im not racist, I just don't trust the lad, it ain't right, is all im saying!
