Southampton FC still alive and kickin!!

I'm sure I speak for all Saints fans when I say thank God for the Swiss! haha :) but seriously, for all those who may not be SFC fans, I'm sure you all heard that we were in administration and on the brink of extinction. But we live to fight another day! :) not sure about the rest of you, but this season looks bright for us already! let's get this Southampton forum going again, COYR!!!

Glad you guys got an owner now, im a fulham fan but southampton are my second team, also i thought if southampton was bought they would not get deducted 10 points at the start of the season

nice to have ya man! I quite like Fulham a lot myself, they're my second Premeir team I cheer for. But originally Matt LeTissier's group called Pinnacle was supposed to buy the club, but they were told by the Football League that they could appeal the 10 point deduction plain and simple, then when they went to appeal it the FL said that they didn't have that right, pretty much ridiculous I know, and then for some reason for a few weeks we kept being told "The takeover will be done soon, a few more days," so on and so on. And then the deal for them collapsed, and in came Markus Liebherr who now owns the club. Seems like a good guy, he read up on the Daily Echo everyday and read what us Saints fans had to say about everything, so that makes me feel pretty good that the guy will listen to his teams fans, but hopefully we can come off on a good start and that 10 point deduction will just be history! :D
