So far the following has been announced for the USA:

Fox Soccer Channel (so far)
Tottenham - Manchester City May 16

I assume that we will have many more games covered on FSC as they release the schedule bit by bit as the season progresses.

Something to remember is Setanta US still has rights to show the premier league in the States. Their schedule for us is as follows.

Setanta US
August 30: Portsmouth - Manchester City

September 20: Manchester United - Manchester City

September 28: Manchester City - West Ham

October 5: Aston Villa - Manchester City

October 18th: Wigan - Manchester City

November 1: Birmingham - Manchester City

November 21: Liverpool - Manchester City

That's for sure and I know all the Pubs here in San Francisco have Setanta so not a problem here. Maybe someday soon we will be on ESPN but for now I will take every game I can get.

Without a doubt, City are going to be one of the most entertaining sides to watch this season.

Heck no! I love that my cable system finally picked up Setanta. IF Setanta US went down, I seriously wonder what would happen as you know FSC could only pick up so many other matches and I doubt ESPN is ready to go even more than just picking up the La Liga matches in which they have.

I dont have Setanta so thats why I am bitter.

Plus Espn is showing garbage Inter and Club America in a game where neither team knows what the rules are so? I look at this as a pitiful attempt to lure the growing masses of soccer junkies. Plus ESPN has more money then god, so in terms of production value they should be able to put out a fine product.

I don't want crappy ESPN announcers broadcasting matches I enjoy. My only problem with Setanta is they seem to keep the audience noise somewhat down compared to FSC.

I just wish Setanata and FSC would broadcast in HD.
