considering that most of HT players are from Europe, when would you say is the best HT time to put a player on the transfer list?

most people are logged on before right around noon eastern time.
however, i find better results when i list them around 6 PM eastern time. maybe because lots of US players are due around that time?
Maybe everybody lists their players during the busiest time, so each players dont get as much attention. The most effective time is when (number of bidders/number of listed players) is the highest for each market. Listing them during the morning ET, you get around 18 000 people online, but number of listed players is really big as well.
days are important as well. youth pulls are best listed saturday morning.

Definitely between 6PM and 9PM GMT+1, which means noon to 3PM NY Time
Also, keep in mind that the peak are logged on on Saturday and Wednesday

Good to know, if you wanna buy cheap, try end of season (actually the best week is the one following the playoff, where everybody dump at low price)
The best time to sell is the second week, after the cup day (Wednesday).
Cherry on top: find Babel Translator like tool to translate english in Swedish and post your guy there ;)

Being over in Europe at the moment, I've had very good results in posting my players between 8pm and 11 pm GMT, or 2pm and 5pm Central time, usually around that time, there are a lot of US players online, plus there are still quite a few Euro players online.

oh you're right. i meant to say sunday night.
i listed a 26 yo excellent playmaking, passable passing at noon ET on Friday. He was sold for freaking 733 000 USD. probably the luckiest sell i've ever had.
