Who for you is the greatest player ever to pull on the shirt for our club?

Blanchflower, Greaves, Mackay, White, Jennings, Perryman, Hoddle, Clemence, Ardiles, Waddle, Mabbutt, Allen, Gascoigne, Lineker, Sheringham, Klinnsmann, Ginola, Campbell (sorry), Carr?

Who do you think?

Expand it to Greatest Players and it'll be a lot easier to answer.

Mackay
Blanchflower
Greaves
Jennings (it says a lot that he can join the Arse and still be considered a great Spur)
Cliff Jones (legendary left winger, once scored 22 goals in a season.Thats more than Keano this season!)
Chivers
Perryman
Graham Roberts
Hoddle
Ardiles
Hazard
And who can forget Stevie Archibald? Nicknamed ArchiGol by Barca fans.

Then the two greatest Spurs managers, Nicholson and Burkinshaw.

Not too sure about Mabbutt, he was a bit slow. Allen had one amazing season.

Klinsmann, Ginola, and Campbell were shining lights in pretty piss poor teams.

The closest thing the EPL has today to Blanchflower and Mackay are Rio Ferdinand and Veira

Where the hell is Freund on both of your lists?!! Huh?!?!?!

Didn't Hoddle win this award on the Spurs website not to long ago after the news that he was appointed manager?

I reckon it's a tossup between Blanchflower and Mackay. With Mackay being the player we desperately need today, a tough tackler and leader in midfield who could score goals, something like 51 in 300 games.

Well for me its Blanchflower without a doubt, Hoddle was a great player for Spurs, but Blanchflower is just about the only long time Spur who is a true all time great.

Yeah. Its between Greaves (the Raul of his day, except more clinical), Mackay and Blanchflower.

Greaves is a recovering Alkie, Blanchflower died penniless in a bedsit, and Mackay has a tie shop in Winchmore Hill.

And Jennings scored against ManU in a charity shield game from a goal kick. Mental.

Ive heard about that incident many times but have never seen it. Sounds legendary.

I would say Blanchflower and Jennings are the greatest. But im biast towards the N.Ireland players. Why cant Spurs find some more top quality talent from N.Ireland any more. Do no teams scout over here? The next Best or Blanchflower is waiting to be found.

The club did have a kid called Jon Black in the youth setup who was northern irish and meant to be a decent midfielder, but they released him this year....

I suppose with all the Rep Ire. scouting the club does these days, they could at least send a scout or two more up north.

He was definitely amazing, some beautiful goals and tricks, he's right up there as one of the best and a candidate for the all-time team. It was unfortunate that the club had to sell him to Marseille and Hoddle to Monaco, but at least they did well there.
