Best Show on TV

Just asking what you all think the best show(s) on TV are. And lets lay down a few ground rules, basic cable and broadcast TV only (no HBO, Showtime) and no reality TV.

I can think of a few:
The Shield
Arrested Development
West Wing
The O.C.*
The Daily Show
Chappelle's Show
Alias
South Park

If I had to pick one, it would be the Daily Show, but the rest of these are right up there.


*I know some of you will laugh about the OC, but it is just so damn entertaining that it can't not be on my list

How could I forget Scrubs? That is one of the best as well.

Scrubs should be called, "Me and All of My Friends on a TV show pretending to be doctors." What a great show.

I like Law and Order.

ER is another of my favorites.

Other than that I just watch soccer and the news.

Which Law and Order?

Most of the Comedy Central lineup, including The Daily Show, South Park, Insomniac, and Chapelle's Show. In addition, Da Ali G Show, The Sopranos, and Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO.

My favorite show is 24, but Scrubs, Daily Show, Chappelle Show, and South Park are close behind.

My favorite shows are (in order) :

SportCenter
Alias


Those are the only two shows I make sure I watch regularly. I never miss Alias and I watche SportCenter at least three times a day.


I also like The Chapell show, South park, Baseball Tonight, The Practice, Swan, and The MythBusters.

Eh, I don't watch much regular television, but I guess I'd say:

The Simpsons
Arrested Development
Law & Order... right now its a bit off though
The West Wing... this season isn't that great though

Other than that its mostly baseball and soccer

I currently watch:

The Shield (constantly stays fresh, and the crap you just don't get to see if your cop show viewing habits is basically NYPD Blue)
The OC (pure soap opera stuff with Gen-Y appeal, guilty pleasure viewing)
CSI (just the original in Vegas for me)
Law and Order (SVU, Original, and Criminal Intent are all above average shows)

I've been known to watch re-runs of Angel/Buffy and JAG.
