He's going to be around for a while then. Good for him.

I know he had 1 or 2 horror shows for Arsenal.....anyone remember any real good games he played? Or was it just average. Also where do you guys think he is in the pecking order? I think it goes....Iwonder how much playing time he will get this year.

he played more last year than i thought he would.
at his age/skill level, i think he should be a carling cup starter, limited bench player for the big squad.

Long term contract? Then what did he sign last year when we were battling it out with ManUtd??
Are we paying our kids too much??

Long term contract? Then what did he sign last year when we were battling it out with ManUtd??
Are we paying our kids too much??I think that with the so-called "Webster" clause in effect as well as players running their contracts down that we'll see contracts being remewed much more often, especially with talented young players so as to minimise the possibility of them leaving the club for nothing.
I think Ramsey is a very good player, it's only to be expected that his performances were a bit up and down in his first season at the club. Hopefully he'll be first choice for the domestic cups and get some appearances from the bench in the league and continue his progression.
