It looked like an accident...until you watched it twice.

I didn't really have an opinion of the guy until that game. I saw him come on and do some moving, passing, etc and then I was really impressed when he made that huge run up the middle and almost get that huge diving header. I was like "excellent, a cool german!" and then they showed the STOMP on Shearer, and the respec-o-meter went to -10. Friggin kraut.

This was one of those incidents that look worse the slower you show it. In real time it looks like he's trying to find somewhere to put his foot and is trying to avoid falling on Shearer.

I've seen this lad a lot and he is one player who most definitely is NOT dirty or violent at all.

Hopefully the blues do better against Monaco today, a team they should DESTROY.
