Wayne Bridge

Ive recently been able to watch more Chelsea games on FSW. One player who has really stood out to me is Wayne Bridge. This is guy is incredible. Other than Roberto Carlos...ive never seen a fullback /w as much pace and fitness as Bridge. When he runs it looks like the game is on fast forward...and it seems like every time he crosses the ball is right on the money. Whoever went out and got this guy for Chelsea deserves some serious props. I know this may sound a bit premature but this guy is probably the best LB in the world, as I don't think RC defends as well and is gettin up in age.

PS I really wish Bridge was American.

I've been impressed with Bridge's work rate. He always seems to hustle, and that's something that you don't always see in some of the big names. Sure they're good, but some seem to think that they're so good that they don't need to bust their ass to get to a ball. From what I've seen of Bridge, he's a player I try to model my own playing style after (even if he is a LB and I'm forward:D)

For my money he's the most improved player in the Prem this season.He had a dodgy start, didn't look all that sure of himself and was reluctant to go forward - and when he did it was often at the wrong time.

That all changed somewhere around November - and he hasn't looked back since.
Should be the starting left full in the National squad!
