Nice interview by JT for Sky. Great insight into his philosophy and mindset especially when it comes to his trophy room.
Wow. That is a great interview. I loved the part about the CL final shirt. It's obvious when the interviewer starts asking him about whether a psychologist would tell him to take it down that JT gets a little defensive fire in him. It just shows you how much he wants to win. Yet he handles the questions in such a diplomatic way. He's a great sportsman.

Very happy about this because in cups, you just want to win and move on.
Arsenal home to Liverpool is tasty and is Spurs hosting Everton.

The Arse or scousers gone next round, delightful. No complaints, rather have a Premiership side at home than a life or death match with a lower side., tots-Everton ought to be a battle

Drogba urges Chelsea to sign Vieira

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti to make a move for ex-Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira in the January transfer window.
The Premier League leaders are unable to bring in new players due to a transfer embargo imposed by FIFA, but should the club's appeal against that ruling be successful, Drogba believes veteran midfielder Vieira should be the frst name on Ancelotti's wish-list.
"It would be a good move for Chelsea to bring Patrick in,'' the Ivory Coast international told the Sun. "Don't forget we are going to miss several players in January, particularly in midfield, because of the African Nations Cup."We played against Vieira last summer and he was very strong.''

Lamp shows his class:
"Adapt
Lampard does not feel that any change to Chelsea's style under new boss Carlo Ancelotti is holding him back, and he feels that getting the ball to in-form strike duo Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba is key.
He added: "Systems are fluid and you can over-analyse to find out a reason for why this is happening or that.
"Good players need to be able to adapt to these things - they change all the time.
"Whey you have the likes of Drogba and Anelka playing up front, you have to find them and use their qualities - their pace, their power, their strength and their finishing qualities.""

Not too long ago, there was a discussion about the best Center Bank in the game. JT stated today that he believes that Riccy and Rio are his favorites, but that was because he is team mates w/ the two (http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~1820733,00.html). I know Testo or what ever his name will happy to read that:rolleyes::p

Kalou reportedly signs new 4 year deal. Good business any way, once FIFA is told to eff off we can sell him for some cash, rather than lose him on a free this summer and keeps valuable depth until that time. I really like the hardworking no complaint kid, but I think our futures should diverge when we can upgrade that 3rd striker as his football seems to have peaked and then rolled back down the hill for us, and also think time for Sturridge to start getting a shot at that role and Di Santo in the spring.

without starting a fire, I think re-signing Kalou is a good move at this point.

looks like Alex has extended his deal as well.
Good news if it is true, which only leaves J. Cole as the one player left with a contract close to expiration IIRC.

I agree with you regarding the re-signing of Kalou. Due to our situation it is important we resign these players. I think now you might not see Ancelotti play him at all ;)
The Alex news, if true, makes me very happy because he is an important player to keep at the club.
