vasco, cap this kid!!

Why? He plays in the reserves for a team that quite frankly isn't that good. In fact, Siena are a low mid-table team. It's not like he's demonstrated anything worthy of capping just because he plays on a Serie A reserve team. Maybe he can compete for a spot in the under-19 team.

Agreed, some of you are becoming spazzos. He can earn a spot on the youth team first, if he a deserves one. But to start capping players for the hell of it is ridiculous.

Firstly, just because you live in Italy does not make you a star, not all Italian made cars are Ferraris, there are Fiats. So let him show something that is worthy of writting first.

Then... let the kid choose... he is half Italian, lived there most of the time from what little I read... so let him make that decision, don't try to snatch him or anyhting like that.

I'm not a mod, but he is not really at AC Siena.

No need to cuz, chill.

I don't know about you, but when someone tells me "he is at Barcelona" I expect someone to be in the team, even if on the bench. And I mean the Barcelona where Rafa plays, not Barcelona from Ecuador.

That's just me.

I want to say (if I remember correctly) that before Gio was brought to the actual squad, he had his own thread to the effect of "....Barca B".

No need to get all emotional.

So Carlo is the Mexican Giuseppe Rossi?

I wouldn't say so, Rossi was born, raised, and lived in the U.S. all his life here until he started playin pro ball overseas. Although both his parents are from Italy Rossi about as Italian as Pizza Hut. Carlo on the other hand is half and half but has lived most of his life in Italy by the sounds of it.
