How is it a pain? Go to the last page... and you'll see all the new stuff.

Michael Owen, Marcus Berg. Nothing new in the Brit papers really. M'bia is being bandied about. Also I read today in the Mirror that Jo is on his way back for another season's loan?

there's also that handy-dandy "jump to first unread post" button which will take you right to the spot you left off of last time you were reading the thread :)

I'm sort of glad we have a new thread too. Toffeeweb.com had a report from the Sun that Moyes might be looking to pick up Dempsey from Fulham for a 4 mil. price tag.

Yeah just read that now. More speculation than anything, due to Dempsey stalling on his contract. I'd be all for it, especially for £4m. That'd be a steal. Working with our boys he'd improve immeasurably.

£4m, is a bargain, if he doesn't work out, which I'm sure he will do, then it's not a massive loss, we could always sell him for around the same ammount.

Moyes' First Summer Acquisition (http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11671_5417047,00.html)
"I am not sure how often miracles happen, but I will not squander this opportunity," he said.
"The trial period I was there was great. To play alongside some great names like Phil Neville, Tim Cahill and Tim Howard was an experience.
"Their poise on the ball was terrific and they demand the highest level out of your play every time out."

i much as i love seeing more americans on Everton's radar..i have no idea what to think of this signing..i can see it as him being on the reserve squad..but being an actual signing from a 4th tier US team? i am all for finding diamonds in the rough..but this seems a little ridiculous..He isnt even on the US national teams radar!

neither was Vedad Ibišević. he was one of the leading scorers in the bundesliga last year. it's only a little bit of money and high reward. in the right system, any player can become a star. some more so than others.

That being said your national team don't even play Freddy Adu.

He didn't play at all in the Confed Cup. Connor Casey, who is without doubt the worst player I've ever seen, got the nod ahead of him.

this is true but still freddy has more talent and a better chance to score than casey anytime of the game...even without playing time. the only thing casey brings that adu doesnt is height strength and ability in the air. which doesnt sound to bad. if you need a goal im bringing freddy on not casey...only scenerio i wouldnt is if u have maybe one free kick or corner.
in that i dont think moyes would sign someon who is young with no upside...waht he see's in him im excited to see myself in the future.
