Does anyone in here ever chat about the league in Northern Ireland? I know Lifton and Ballymac are good sides...I think. I just read a great article in 442 about the Northern Ireland League. Just curious. And if not why doesn't BS dump the Wales and Northern Ireland forum names because it seems that no one ever mentions either leagues or their National teams. Just a thought.

There, see you just chatted about N. Ireland and fulfilled our quota of domestic N. Ireland football threads for the year; one. :D

Northern Ireland is on the up at the moment. And the glory days are coming back. And we are the British football champions at the moment.

The international team got a new manager a while ago, Laurie Sanchez(played for Wimbledon). He's been in charge 3 games now and he is turning things around. We hadnt scored a goal for a very long time before he took over. We actually hold the record for the longest period of time without scoring now, which is good because we get to chant 'we hold the record' now at the matches. Well in Laurie's first match we lost but we scored. First barrier broken. Second match we won, 1-0. Third match (tonights match) we drew 1-1. The draw was good as it was against a very good side ranked 44 in the world. So things are looking good at the moment and are world ranking is improving every game now. The team is touring the Carribbeans very soon, so hopefully that will be 3 wins, which will keep are confedence growing, then we will be ready for Poland.

The Northern Ireland league is amazing and is also improving. Linfield just won the league. And its between Glentoran and Coleraine for the Irish FA Cup.

Never heard of them. Lifton, you might mean Linfield or Cliftonville. Ballymac you probally mean Ballymena.

Thanks for the corrections. Well which clubs do you support? I would love to have a Northern Ireland pen pal and also get into following the league.
Thanks.
