This is about your team captain, not your clown.
What criteria are most important in choosing your captain for your matches?
I had always thought it was leadership, but HT-Buddy indicates one of my passable leaders as the best captain. Even though I have solid players on my roster.
Are there secondaries such as experience that factor into the best captain for your team?
Lastly, what difference does a captain make anyway?

According to the rules, a captain needs experience and leadership. And supposedly a good captain will help prevent confusion with a new formation.
And Mark, I feel weird being the one to give you the advice :)

Chris is right, it's a combination of leadership and esp, because if he didn't have some experience, you'd have a good leader who wouldn't know which way to go. My best captain is currently a passable leadership guy as well, but my solid guy should be taking that spot soon.

My team captain has both the second highest leadership on the squad (after my non-playing semi-clown) and the highest experience. Usually I just go with the experience, because most of my guys with decent experience also have decent leadership.
