Final price: $1,775.00.And here I am staring at what could very well be one of the first DC United jerseys Freddy ever signed (along with the rest of the team), and it cost me all of $5 ... gotta love lottery tickets. Bought 6 for $5 at the Carolina Cup game. Not game-worn though. Still, a good bargain. Maybe I should put it up on ebay before the whole Freddy thing blows over ..... kidding, it isn't for sale, it's MINE :)

Ok, supposing the DCU didn't get any any discount from Addias for the shirts then they payed ~$100 for it with the lettering installed. Now their not for profit arm sells it for $1755.
Damn, I need to get into the not for profit charity business :D

I would be very surprised if DC pays a penny for any of their jerseys.

Freddy and United for DC got a shoutout this morning on WAMU for this. I don't remember exactly what they said (I wasn't quite awake yet - Morning Edition is my alarm clock and I hit the snooze alarm a lot) but the tone was positive.
