Nice to see some football worth talking about today, during the midst of silly season.

Seeing him up close today, I learned Babel is clearly very right footed. Kinda strange to see. Therefore, prediction: Liverpool fail in '09-'10.

I still think Babel has talent and potential to be a very good player. He hasn't made it at Liverpool, but that club is like a circus at times. In the end, they outbidded everyone else and overpaid ridiculously, but clearly he went to the wrong club.

Perez really is playing FM. I think his next target is Hamsik.

Hamsik is an amazing talent - would hate to see him go there.

its been that way since Dunga took over
if they cant counter, or run into an athletic team, they are very beatable
edit: he should bring in Elano

i think i dislike dan alves more than any other footballer.
obvious badass skills... but his playacting, diving, and quadruple rolling on the pitch to get the opposition cards is embarrasing.

Iran football players 'banned' after Mahmoud Ahmadinejad protest (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/iran/5620334/Iran-football-players-banned-after-Mahmoud-Ahmadinejad-protest.html)

It was a good free kick, but the keeper wasn't positioned well and was extremely slow to react.
