Timmy Howard and Brad Friedel. Sure, there are some good players from the U.S that play abroad, but none of them contribute to their teams as much as Howard and Friedel do. They both play every game without fail and not to mention that they are top 5 material in goalkeepers in the EPL.

I'm am chuffed to see Tim Howard is leading this poll.
I have had the good fortune of interviewing Tim on a regular basis and not only is he one of the most talented goalkeepers around, but he is a nice guy to boot.
It's only right he should get this kind of recognition and long may it continue.

You can't bump a thread created in 2004 and be surprised that the Yanks Abroad in 2009 aren't all in the list. :)
