Thank you. That made my Father's day. (Well, you know. Except for all the other stuff this fine day.)

I'm beginning to feel bad for Rossi, coming home to Jersey and greeted by that.... well, not too bad ;)

I'm resentful towards Rossi, too, but I must admit he played well against Brazil. His shots were screamers, what a left foot. Not his day, today, though, thank you very much Brazil & US teams.

Ives should show up here just to take a bow and get some meaningless rep. That actually did make me lol, extra loud.

Awesome.
Did he really get stripped for the 3rd goal? I said in some thread after our Italy match that it looked like he got dispossessed very easily. Bornstein stripped him, like 3 times.
Dude can hit 30 yard bombs, but is that enough?

I wish him a wonderful vacation with his family in his motherland, and hope that being with loved ones in this beautiful country helps ease the pain. I bet he still feels more at home here. Can't say he made the wrong choice professionally/internationally. Helluva player with a tremendously bright future, obviously.

It's best that he goes to US right now, because the Azzurri are going to be greeted by mobs of angry fans and will be crucified by the Italian press. The worst thing that will happen to him in the States is he'll run into an angry BS poster at the airport.
For better or worse, the anonymity here will certainly put the choice he's made into perspective.
