true but he missed the handball on the goal line .... should have been four to nil.

I the refs being from 'nuetral' English speaking nations probably helped us. Maybe not but it seems like there would be less 'bias' than from some of the other countries. Just human nature.
They did miss the handball though, could have gone either way.

Maybe you missed that Dempsey was offside and jumped through the line of sight of the keeper at Bradley's goal? The ref could easily have denied the goal.

So 1 goal wrongly waved off, 1 wrongly allowed.
The game seemed pretty evenly called to me. Much less physical play and hard tackling than the last two games.

The ref let the players play. Referees from countries that tend toward a physical style of play usually favor us for that reason.
I thought the tackle on which Michael Bradley got a yellow card would have been a red with either of the first two referees we had. (Not necessarily because it deserved a red - the officiating in both games seemed rather one-sided to me, considering the number of horror tackles Italy got away with and the number of times Brazil got free kicks with no contact whatsoever.)

I thought the tackle on which Michael Bradley got a yellow card would have been a red with either of the first two referees we had. Really? On the replay it didn't even look like Bradley made contact. I was assuming he got the yellow for dissent. Anybody else get a good view of it?

My mistake, then. My stream got choppy for a minute or two right after the foul.

Didn't the ball go off the Egyptian's body and then deflect off his hand? Didn't look intentional to me.
On Bradley's goal, Dempsey was close to being in the line of sight, but I don't think he was.
Both calls could have gone either way, but I think the ref probably got both correct.

With today's refs Clark's tackle against Italy would have been a yellow. Kljestan probably would have been a red with any ref.

Well, I'm not sure. But I think Bradley didn't make contact.

On the replay I saw the Egyptian player appeared to completely jump over the tackle.

No way that was a penalty and a red. He did not deliberatly handle it.

doesnt need to be intentional. His hand is what prevents the ball from going in to the goal so it should've been a PK. In my opinion though it appeared it was intentional, his arm is moving up and away from his body, if you are trying to avoid the ball it will almost assuredly be moving in the opposite direction.

I wouldn't have given the player a red card but you can't prevent a goal with your hand, intentional or not.

You can't, but evidently players from Egypt and Germany can.

You're wrong with the rule. The question is: Did he hold/move his arm in a "natural" way. If you think it's "natural" to hold your arm next to your body, where it can be hit unintentionally by a deflecting ball; then it's no penalty.

Intentional, unintentional...IT DOESN'T MATTER. You can't stand on the goal line with your arms extended out from your sides. That is a penalty, period.
