Gotta be Dempsey, for me. But I thought our back four were fantastic!

but despite that first almost goal fiasco, landon mother f***ing donovan! He didnt stop running all day! could have let that first wtf moment get to his head but he kept going great, set up a great assist of Bradley's goal, and was a wonderufl leader for us
close second, John Spector. God he is a completely different player since GC07, he gets forward so well. Fantastic game for him

Landon Donovan. He is playing like a man possessed this tournament. What is his distance covered thus far? I mean, I know Eddie Lewis used to cover immense amounts of ground at left back and left mid... but Donovan is giving him a run for his money :p

Landy (needs to shoot more, but is a great player when he plays aggressive and runs at defenders like he did today) was my MOTM. He can trouble Spain with this mindset.
2. Spector - has been brilliant since Bob has started playing him. Defended well, supported the attack, and provide the necassary width with great service (Dempsey goal).
3. Gooch - was dominate in the air all day.

It is easy to pick an attacking player, but Gooch was immense in defense today.

Landon today was MOTM, and it shows how well we played that there were others I could think off--because, except for his finishing touch, Landon was great, just great. Truly world class.

Donovan despite the early error.
Gooch and Bradley were both very good as well.
If I had to go next level, I'd go DeMerit, Spector, Davies, and Clark.

I'll probably get flamed for this, but I gotta say El Guzano. He was rock solid. I never felt worried with him in the net. /2¢

I give Onyewu man of the match. although we scored 3 goals, but if we had let in one goal we would have been sent home. Gooch was the man destroying and anticpating attacks all game long, the defense get the credit today after allowing 6 goals in the first two matches.
