Hello fans of DC United.

Please excuse if I have your forum for my purposes. But I want you to ask a little like!

My favorite team (Nordhausen) plays in the 6.Liga in Germany.

For Internet Voting Game Club-Vote.com but we have to climb into the 1.Liga done. They can play every 2 hours to vote for his club. Unfortunately, we are against the big clubs very difficult. We still need some votes to the receiving class to create.

I would like to warmly invite you, to vote for us. All you need are the following link to open and the computing tasks to solve. Then you click on "Abstimmen". This site is ad-free, and you need no registration. If each of you only vote once for us, we will reach our goal.

With this link you can vote for us.

Thank you so much love and greetings from Nordhausen!

P.S. If you do not like this thread, just delete it again.

it's a joke.

When Kennedy was in Berlin, it was reported that he said in German, "I am a donut".

This report is disputed.

Kennedy's usage was correct. (Ich bin ein Berliner = I am a citizen of Berlin.)

It's a good thing he didn't say "I am a citizen of Wien" in Wien. :)

Thank you Joe. Yes, it was a joke. I wish you guys luck in your quest for clicks.

As my German consists largely of a few pleasantries, a couple of cheers from when I was at the 2006 World Cup, and a few Yiddish phrases that I think translate, I will defer to you speakers as to whether or not Kennedy was correct.

Yet, in Berlin, they do not call Berliners (as in the donut) Berliners. They call them Pfannkuchen. Ask for a Berliner in Berlin, and they'll joke about selling you a Berliner (as in a citizen of Berlin).

It's nice that it makes jokes. But it would be even nicer if a few votes would make for us!

I've eaten a Berliner in Germany, both with and without marmalade. :D

I tried. The site is packed with info so its unclear if the link you sent led to a vote or not, even when set to englisch. Anyway, good luck.

PS -- what do you get if you win?

I was actually in the audience and heard/saw Kennedy's speech live! The Germans went crazy when he said he was a Berliner...and his multiple lines about...Let the come to Berlin...
