As the resident orc, what is your opinion of Rangers Youth Company?

From what i understand Murray is basically outsourcing your future youth players so that if you like them you will in effect have to purchase your own youngsters from the company, and will be in danger of being usuruped by anyone who outbids you for your own youngsters. Youth being the way you will have to go for quite a long time this seems like a ridiculous set up putting profit making ahead of your actual team.

Still at least on Motherwell are out of administration now....

I have to admit I am totally baffled by the set up. If they a youth play more than 10 games for use then we have to pay a fee. I really need to find out more about it.

Me and a load of my tim mates are writing to celtic urging them to outbid you for the first player produced by RYC just for the sheer hell of it ;)

The way ive read it the company holds the rights to the players, thus the company decides who the players are sold to, rangers should have the first option, but as this is a profit making scheme i would imagine the highest bidder for your player wins.
Ideally for rangers they will be able to take the best players and leave the dross that isnt good enough for them to be sold on, thus making the profit, but exactly how much money can they make punting the likes of scott wilson for examples sake, maybe 200k tops, now if this company cant get rid of these players it either goes bust or listens to offers for the better players, the scheme set up to save RFC money by letting them save on their youth academy outgoings per year by only paying for the best youngsters at a knock down rate wont fly, say the most you can offer for a wayne rooney type is 1 million and us or man u or chelsea come in with a 2 million offer, whats in the best interests of the profit making company?

It does seem pretty silly all-round! Every time I speak to some one about it or read about it just throws up more questions! Surely there must be some sort of rule that Rangers cannot be outbid. But how do you enforce this?
