This kid cannot catch a break with the injuries. I feel for him.

Let's hope he recovers well this time.

Sucks for Tino. Get well soon and solidly kid.

Cue parade of folks claiming "he just hasn't produced" and that we should cut him all the while ignoring his injuries.

Christ. Hope they finally fix the problem this time. I was looking forward to his return. I had read that Nowak was very pleased with his attitude and work ethic.

I was excited to see how he would play this year knowing about his relationship with Jaime. Hopefully he won't quit and come back strong.

Maybe 2005 will be his break out year

I've forgotten what his injury is. Not the abdomen / groin problem from last season still, is it?

Thanks for the news, Steven. Everybody cross their fingers for him (except for you, GoDC, you jinxer!)

I'm expecting a Ben Olsen like comeback somewhere in the 2005-2006 timeframe.

Get well, kid!

Hopefully, it's a heart replant.

It just pisses me off that they had to wait this long to get the surgery. But damn, this sucks for the kid.

Does this remind anyone of a certain former DC United player, who at one point was the youngest player ever to play with the full US Men's team, had a run of injuries and personal problems, and was selling insurance when last heard from?

I know I will feel stupid, but who are you talking about? J
