I never really pay attention to the souvenir stands at RFK, but my friend wants to get a Ben Olsen jersey. Does anyone know if they are sold at all or is it just Adu and Convey?
Thanks,
Jessica

You might be able to get a T-shirt, but probably not a jersey. The only jerseys I saw last game (with player's names) were Adu - #9's, and they were only in size Small & X-Large.

Different stand did have different jerseys last game. I remember seeing Adu and Convey, and a third.....but I can't remember who it was. Of course, they may have replenished/added since then, you can call the team, or wait until Saturday to find out.

Does Matt Godek's or some other store in VA still do a customized jersey? They used to put on names, numbers, logos, etc. I seem to recall it'd cost about $100 or so.

A friend of mine, in an intoxicated moment, purchased a '04 home DC United jersey with "Olsen" on the back for $100 during the home opener at RFK. I imagine there'll be more Olsen jerseys at the booths in RFK during the season. kids really like the Benny Olsen.

They still have our old black jersey on their website and when I called to ask when they'd have the new one, the person said they weren't getting new MLS stuff in because they (Startstruck) weren't going to continue "doing the soccer" -- interesting.
As of now, the MLS website still links to them and MLSgear.com goes to their site. Don't know if the info is accurate or if this relationship is just on its last legs.

I just got my Kovalenko jersey today and it cost $86. I think we'll check out the stadium to see if she can get the Olsen one, if not... She'll just order it from where I got mine.
Thanks to everyone that responded, It's appreciated.

I got mine from http://www.worldsoccershop.com/
The jersey was $65 and they charge $14 to have have a personal name and number printed on it. Then shipping was $6.95

Thanks!
My pleasure.
FYI... It does not have the MLS logo on the numbers on the back when you have them personalize it.

You should be advised that it is not the official MLS numbers and fonts on those personalized jerseys from worldsoccershop. Instead of being a sewn on patch it is more of a iron on plastic type letter and numbers.

From what I've seen, the official ones are not sewn on anymore either (although they do use the "MLS font" for the letters and have MLS logos in the numbers).

I feel terrible that I can't remember the name, but there is a shop in Foxmill (Herndon/Reston/Chantilly area) that does it for ~$100 for the Jersey with name/number. The last couple I got though, they didn't have the correct font for the seasons I was getting the shirts for.
Can't beat the Equip sale though in the winter if you can wait. Couldn't believe that I only payed $80 each for a LS Reyes (damn the b@st@rds!!!!) and LS Bobby (wife) jerseys. Damn i'm gonna have to drive into DC next year....I liked them being down the street from my house

If anyone wants to see how mine turned out before deciding to buy one, I'll be wearing mine to the game on Saturday in section 134 and I will be at the tail gate. You'll know me because I'll probably be the only one wearing a Kovalenko jersey. :p

It seems WorldSoccerShop.com has the right jersey and will personalize it, but not with MLS letters/numbers. And MLSgear.com will personalize with MLS letters/numbers, but only has last year's black jersey.
Does anyone know of any place (online or otherwise) who will personalize this year's jersey with the MLS letters?
Oddly enough, the Adu jersey on offer from World Soccer Shop appears to have the MLS letters/numbers:

There's a website that does a fairly good job, and have authentic names and numbers. I got an away Olsen jersey from them last year, and I preordered new US National team jerseys with Bobby and Eddie.
The name catches a bigsoccer filter due to an ongoing feud that I'm not part of,
