I am attending my first US team game in Dallas. I have tickets for the SA section and need some suggestions as to wha to wear. Any good place to get red gear?

I am getting that for my cuban father-in-law to wear to the game. It will be a great joke.

I am eagerly anticipating my first international cap next week against Mexico. Unfortunately, I didn't learn all the specifics about Sam's Army until after I bought my ticket (section 29, right next to SA in 28). I'd much prefer to get in on the "general admission" of the Sam's Army and do some yelling, chanting, and cheering, so I was wondering if anyone with more USMNT caps (ha ha) could tell me of the likelihood of "trading" tickets w/ someone who doesn't want to sit in the SA section, or just sneaking down into the section. Also, if I coerce one of my "soccer neutral" buddies into coming w/ me to the game, will he likely be able to buy tickets at the Cotton Bowl the day of, and hopefully get into the Sam's Army section as well? I have my red shirt and my vocal chords ready, but I just jumped the gun a little with the tickets and was wondering if there's a way around it all. Any/all comments will be of upmost apprecation. Thanks.

Granted I don't live there now, but I do go back to Big D every month or so, and I don't recall a Niketown in the entire state of Texas, so I highly doubt there's one in Dallas.

Considering how things will be set up, feel free to try to just slip in. In that part of the stadium, I'm not sure how close they will be checking tickets.
Another idea - go in with us (meet us at the tailgate first) and we'll go in as a mob of sorts, and you can just slip into the crowd.
But definitely hook up with us at the tailgate.
For those looking for red shirts, red is red. Hell, go buy a relatively cheap red T and put something on it. Go USA! or something. (Or, if you're in the Dallas area, give in now and join The Inferno - come to the Burn game on Saturday and treat it as a warm up.)

Please don't wear a club gear to a Yanks game. Something minor like a hat or scarf is OK, but not a shirt.

Super awesome. I'm getting pretty damn excited already. Speaking of tailgaiting, I'll go ahead and assume it's at the site listed on the Sam's Army website, where "the Inferno" meets up before Burn games. The link:

Let me know if I'm mistaken. Thanks a million.

Nope - you're right on the money. We're hoping that it will be available before 5:00, but we can be pretty sure that by 5:00, you can start tailgating!

as Drum'r Boy has posted elsewhere it looks like the tailgating will start around 3:30 (lots of time to get well and truly sloshed!) though the gates won't open for the game until 4:30. i'm not sure if that means the parking lot gates or the gates into the stadium, though. Kevin?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a convenient way to get from north of the metroplex (along 75) to the Cotton Bowl during rush hour? I'm dreading the stop-and go already, and trying to maximize my tailgating time.
I thought someone posted a recommendation on a different thread, but I can't seem to find it. Much thanx.

due to the greatness of chazsoccer:
follow the access road of 75 to Good Latimer (veer left onto Good Latimer)
Follow Good Latimer thru the Deep Ellum tunnel past Elm St
Turn left on Main St OR on Commerce St
Go past two stop lights (Malcolm X Blvd and Hall St) and
Veer right on to Exposition Blvd
Exposition Blvd ends in a 'T' intercestion at Perry Ave - the front gates of Fair Park
