I think it should be up on iTunes now. Have you tried again?

Tried all day since 3:00 when it is usually up. I can download past shows. Never had this kind of problem.

I had trouble with it and deleted it the first time it showed up. I tried to refresh my podcasts later and it popped back up. It then downloaded without any problem.

That's a trick that usually works. Sometimes the link from iTunes is flawed, and you need to either unsubscribe/resubscribe or just delete the flawed link. Of course, it won't work until the *new* link is fixed..
Another method is to use the RSS directly from the WSD site, you can directly download or stream any show.

The WSD website appears to be down right now. What gives?

It was slow loading for a while, I assume that was tied to the large listenership on Monday and the new fan videos for the Messi Shirt.
I rarely go to the website during the show, if often gets slow although Monday was really sludgy. I'll either be on the uStream or (best of all) I listen though RealPlayer.

ahhhhhhhh.
yesterday (7-13-09) my podcast cut off after 12 min. and and today the pod is flawed. I've tried all the tricks and nothing. Will I ever get to hear Grant via Itunes?:(

I never use Itunes for the show.

Usually takes a few hours for the show to appear on that page. But you can bring it up or past shows for that matter by using the example format:
http://www.worldsoccerweekly.com/WSD071409.mp3
Just change the date for the show you want. This opens up in quicktime on my browser and if I want to save the mp3, I just click File..Save Page As. Again this is useful when it hasn't yet been posted on the page but is still in the system.:)

No issues on the 13th, but yesterday's (Jul 14th) only downloaded as a 18 min fragment.

I had the same problem, but I noticed that the file showed the correct length. I fast forwarded past the 18 minute mark and everything was fine.

I was having the same problem with the iTunes pod. It quit just as Grant was coming on. I was able to fast forward through the blip and continue on though.

that worked for me as well, after I reloaded the file.
