Does it bother anyone that Chelsea has so many Foreign players or do you think this is a good thing?

Have you actually counted the number of England internationals in the Chelsea squad?
Terry, Bridge and Lampard are definites and Johnson, Joe Cole and Parker could get in there too. I may be wrong but I think we've got more than Arsenal, United and Liverpool now.

AND they're all one's for the future. I could see us making up half the England team in a couple of years.

Yes this "Foreign" tag is yesterdays news, we are far from having the most overseas players in our squad.

Try trolling another board.

Plus, once we buy Beckham this summer, and Cudicini decides to play for England, we'll have half half of the current English squad :p

Well I think Claudio signed his resignation letter out there today. His odd substitutions distroyed the shape of the team.

Makelele should be band, his dive was disgraceful. I was sure we were going to win at half time a very disapointing night all round.

Beckham's not coming to Chelsea. I doubt he would leave Real.

Sigh. What is it with the Cole lovefest recently? No less an authority *giggle* than nurspec has declared him great. Fact is, however, he's not coming to the Bridge anytime soon, since part of Parker's contract included a clause keeping him on loan for another year.

well until his loan is made permenant or he's sold off to another club,he's still a chelsea player.i only mentioned him because no one else had.and im certainly not in a lovefest over the kid, hell if he was sold on it would'nt bother me in the slightest bud.

My thoughts exactly.
He's a gonner now, and all that stuff in the rags today - taken out of context or not - will have the Russians blood boiling as it is.
Time to move on and wonder now who will be the next manager.

As for the "british player thing" - thats old news.
Didn'd we just have the most club players named in the last squad selection?

C Cole is also an England u-21 isn't he?

As for beckam....yes please!
If we do land him we'll win the title next season.(which we very well may do anyway)
