Was wondering if anyone could give me a helping hand in trying to obtain 2 decent tix for the Spurs match in Oct. ?

So far I just haven't been able to muster up a single ticket , let alone 2.

That's because they don't go on general sale until the 10th of October.

Any advice on where to go for a set of 2 ? ... ticketmaster is usually a joke and if manage to grab a set of tickets they are usually the worst possible ones.

I've said it before, I'll say it again - the most surefire way of getting a ticket for a match is to join the queue on the first day of general sale.

Which, I do realise, is not vastly helpful to someone who lives in New Jersey.

The Credit Card hotline is therefore your best bet. It's recently been improved after ILSA and every other pressure group spent the last five years moaning like hell about the risible standard of service and it's now actually quite good. So, if you can stomach paying to call a premium line number to the UK and holding for about 15-20 minutes, then you can more or less guarantee some form of ticket.

But it's Spurs - you will have to drop the "decent" bit before you even start. You'll get what you're given for a category A match where every ST and PTS holder will exercise their right for a ticket. In other words, us out here in the great unwashed will have to scrap it out for about 7,000 tickets.

Say Lar Vee.

online at www.liverpoolfc.tv (although only a very small number are available by these means)

or from a tout.

But you will most easily be able to get one using the CC line.

I am visiting London in April and was hoping to buy tickets to their game at Crystal Palace. I tried sending an email to the team but never received a response. Does anyone know how hard this game will be to get tickets to? Or can anyone else give me some advice on how to get tickets to this game? Thanks

It shouldn't be too difficult to get them, especially this early. Try and go through the website and get them through their links instead of somewhere else online because they charge an arm and a leg.

There will be a limited allocation for traveling supporters with preference given to Club members and regular traveling supporters. also this should be one of the harder tickets to get even if you were willing to sit quietly among the Palace lot. Liverpool doesn't play Palace all that often. You may find a ticket hard to get -- a service might be the only option. The official site can give you information about ticket allocations and a UK phone number to call for information, but they probably will defer any specific questions about a game that far away.

Most clubs don't put tickets on sale until two weeks before the game (see here for Liverpool's home game release schedule (http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/tickets/home_games.htm) for instance).

Palace will sell Selhurst Park out for more or less every game this season - promoted clubs with one eye on the trap-door tend to enjoy it whilst it lasts. This is of course particularly the case with games against the big guns. So you'll struggle to get a ticket in the home end. The away end can actually be easier sometimes - except when the game is in London. Because London is full of ex-pat Reds who take the opportunities afforded them by anything up to 10 Reds' visits to the capital every season to make up for the fact that they less regularly make it up to Anfield. So away tickets for London games are hard to come by too.

Touts or agencies are your best bet. That's pricey though.

I have a spare pair of tickets for Liverpools first game of the season against Sunderland at Anfield on the 20th August. Please email me at jayclose@hotmail.co.uk for more details.

I normally travel to Anfield annually with a friend of mine who can get us 2 tickets from a friend of us from the PTS scheme. However, for the spurs game, there is a group of us heading over (about 6). He can still probably get us the 2 tickets he normally gets, but the rest of the group have no line to tickets. They are wanting to book thro an agency so they are guaranteed tickets, but the cost is over €330 and the hotel is out in Wigan.
I normally fly over, book hotel in centre and it works out a lot cheaper.

What is the normal situation of getting tickets? Is it possible to pre-book?

A group of us (11) have booked flights & accom for the Spurs game in Jan. Obviously we have to wait closer the date to organise tickets and I have already had the names & numbers of a few people in Liverpool to contact nearer the time if we are short on tickets, but if anybody is not taking their allocation of PTS tickets or knows someone who isn't for this match, could they contact me. We are flying from Dublin on the Friday 13th.

Thanks,

Tom

I have a few questions about Liverpool tickets. I will be visiting England in November and would like to go see the Anderlecht match. I've looked at several sites with tickets, but I don't know what a ticket should sell for. So I don't know if I am being ripped off, or if it's a good price.

Help! Does anyone know about how much I can expect to pay for a ticket? Also, any advice on getting tickets? Should I try to secure one before I go, or just buy one when I get there?

Thanks a bunch!!

Ashley

Hey Ash!
