what the heck, this is ngr forum, lets use it, i want to know the californianos point of view on this one, being the capital of soccer in the state, this should be a good topic.
I though the perfect was Capello but it will be hard to grab him now that he is in England.
Rikjar would have been great but I think he is taken already.
It will be nice to think of a new coach after another embarrasing world cup.
Who would be the perfect and why at this moment?
Bianchi: won everything with boca
Aragones: took Spain to the European crown
Klissman: World Champion as a player
Donadoni: Not a great coach, but a great player and he knows the US.
We need a real deal coach man I think. Is time to take the NT to the next level, the players need the psicology of a big guy.
Im sure money would not be an issue for the NT since Im assuming they do have enough to bring a great coach.
Schuster should be a great option also.
Who else is on mind? Rafa Benitez?

USA is kind of a unique team. Players are really spread out, the MLS has a goofy schedule compared to the international calendar, and our youth systems are totally different. So I don't think can just plug in a good international coach and have instant success. I would like to see Klinnsman as long as he brings a good defensive assistance coach with him, or Pekerman. Scolari might also be an interesting choice. Aragones is old, probably has no interest in downgrading from Spain to the USA. Too much hassle. Schuster isn't really proven at all yet.
By the way, it's my opinion that Bradley has been both unfairly and fairly criticized. Unfairly, in that his player pool isn't a deep as people say it is, and we hve had a lot of our key guys sitting on the bench instead of sharpening their games. Fairly, in that our offense still looks like it has no idea how to score from the run of play.
But the real reason that he needs to go as soon as possible is that the well of success has been poisoned with him. Too many bad defeats. The team looks way too accepting of awful performances and coming out second best. You can only preside over so many butt-whoopings before you're no longer relevant to inspire the team to something better. Between Copa America, Confederations Cup, and our struggles in WC Qualifying, there have been some doozies of losses.
Of course, nothing will change until we bomb out of WC2010. If Sunil Gulati actually knew what he was doing right now, though, he'd be out there doing everything he could to line up someone to fix the mess.
He's completely unavailable at the time, but as always, Guus Hiddink seems to be the only guy who can walk into any team and improve it. He actually seems to like taking on challenges too (Russia, Australia, etc.) so he might consider the US, if it wasn't for the fact that Roman Abramovich is busy paying him enough money to heat his mansion by burning $100 bills.

bb is gone stay untill the world cup and nobody is changing that.
what after the world cup?
frank rijkar or hiddink make sence, klissman or anybody who knows what is like to coach at a high level. rafa benitez?
we just need a coach that knows what is like to play in the elite leagues, we need the psicology and before we do that. we gone keep waiting for long years to "produce" world class players.
and tell our boys "great effort, we will win next time."
think about Fabio Capello being the coach of the USMNT?
He would slap anybody for making a joke after a lost.
You think the press anywhere in the world is going to be happy with a tie when Capellos is the coach?
of course not, they will be mad, why?
bc Capello is a big dog, and the most important bc they are not gone be paying a dime for Capello so if he makes the big boss he better WINS and that is something Bobby does not have, Bradley is just like Arena, they are little guys that have never been outside of american coaching the big boys.
